Who writes: 8,908 writers with Indian citizenship as recorded on Wikidata, their books, their languages and 4,115 award wins across 65 prizes. Where to buy and borrow: 7,736 named bookshops, libraries, stationery shops and publishers from OpenStreetMap, by city. Where to write: Indian sites for writers from our index of the Indian web. And the readers’ notes, as they come.
What we do not do
We sell nothing and rank nothing as "best". A fact names its source and date; a count is entries on record. An opening paragraph is Wikipedia’s, under CC BY-SA 4.0, and says so. A cover is Open Library’s. A note is a reader’s, under the name they gave, and comes down on request.

Where we read a website, we identify as readmore.in/0.1 with a link to this page, one page at a time, and respect robots rules. Write to write@readmore.in to be read differently or not at all.
